Information the studio uses
Sign in with ChatGPT provides an account identifier and email, and may provide your name. We store your books, chapters, notes, series facts, draft versions, uploaded files, covers, preferences, support reports, saved manuscript analysis reviews, membership records and AI usage counters so the studio can work across devices.
Your manuscripts
Books and files are associated with your account. The app checks ownership when loading or changing them. The service operator and hosting providers may access stored information when administering the service or investigating a support issue. Your writing is not published to other writers by the studio.
AI tools
When you request AI writing help or proofreading, the passage and relevant story reference are sent to OpenAI. Natural narration sends the text being read to OpenAI. Browser narration uses your browser’s speech service; whether that service processes audio locally or remotely depends on the browser and installed voice. AI is paused during launch preparation.
AI editing and proofreading requests use the provider’s store:false option. This does not promise that providers retain no data; their applicable policies still govern processing. Usage reports contain counts and token totals rather than manuscript passages.
Payments and hosting
Stripe will handle checkout, payment information and subscription management when billing opens. The studio stores billing identifiers and subscription status; it does not collect or store full card numbers. Sites hosting and its infrastructure providers process application storage, authentication and technical logs.
Retention and requests
Moving a book to Trash hides it; it does not permanently delete its chapters, files or draft history. No automatic account deletion or retention period has been configured. Export your manuscript for your own backup. Contact the operator to request account or data deletion; we must confirm the scope and applicable retention obligations before completing a request.

A public privacy and support contact must be confirmed before launch. During private beta, use Tutorials & support in your bookshelf to save a request for the owner.
